Which online retailers do you accept returns for?

We will accept return orders from any online U.S. retailer.

Which mail carriers do you return to?

We will return your order to UPS, USPS, or FedEx.

How will you pick up my return order?

When you sign up on the app and start a new order Rocket Return will provide you with a bag. After you fill out all the information on the app and pick a date that you want us to come, on that morning, you will put the item you want to be returned on your doorstep or in the provided bag. When we get there we will walk up to your door, grab the bag/package, and be on our way! You do not have to meet us at the door!

Why do I have to use the reusable Rocket Return Bag?

If you choose to package up your own return you do not have to use the bag and can just leave the package on your doorstep. If you want us to package your item for you, on the morning of your scheduled return you will place your items into the Rocket Return bag and then place them on your doorstep. When we come to pick up your items we will take the bag with us and leave you a new one. We want to make sure we keep track of all of your items and they arrive safely at our fulfillment center.

What do I do with the bag when I do not have an item to return?

The bag can be easily folded and stored in a drawer, closet, etc. until the next time you place a return order.

What do I do if I lose the bag?

Just send us a message ([email protected]) or leave it in the comment section on your return order and we will provide you with a new bag.

Do I have to box up my own return order?

No! if your retailer does not specify that it needs to be returned in the original packaging we will box it up for you. Just put the item you want to return in the bag and we will take care of the rest.

What if I can’t print out my own return label?

Don’t worry about it! If you do provide a return label you can just place it inside of the Rocket Return bag, but if not, you can upload the return label on the app and we will print it out for you! (if the third-party retailer requires an itemized receipt you must provide that in the bag). You can also now upload your return summary with QR code and we can do your UPS or FedEx drop-off. 

How do I upload my own return label?

You can upload it straight from your email or pdf by pressing the up arrow button on the bottom left-hand corner and sending it to the Rocket Return app. Or you can take a screenshot of the label and upload it on the app.

Does Rocket Return provide my refund?

No, it is up to your third-party retailer to provide your refund and you are responsible for returning the item to the specifications of the retailer. Return orders picked up by Rocket Return may take up to 48 hours to be sent to mail carriers out of the fulfillment center.

How many items can I return in one pick-up order?

You can return up to 4 separate items for one scheduled return if you are subscribed for $10 a month. For the one-time pick-ups we will take your 1 return. 

What if I need to specify something about my return order?

Leave it in the comment section when you are filling out a new return order!

What if I want to cancel my subscription? What do I do with the bag if I do cancel?

We will be sad to see you go but you can cancel at any time. If you make a final return and let us know you are canceling we can take the bag with us or you can keep the reusable bag.

What are your COVID-19 safety precautions?

Rocket Return is a contactless service, meaning that you do not have to have any contact with our drivers when they come to pick up your order. Our drivers and employees will also all be wearing masks and will sanitize all equipment being used and the provided bags, each workday.
